Les Trois Brigands (A Children's Story]

Here is a video adaptation of Tomi Ungerer's story The Three Robbers. The French translation was published by L'école des loisirs, which specializes in children's books. I read Les trois brigands to my daughter when she was a little girl. I hope you enjoy this story as much as she did. Enjoy the extracts and look for the book.

The first robber opens the carriage door and immediately shuts it.
The second one walks up and asks: "Qu'est-ce qui se passe?" [What's going on?]
The first one answers: "Y'a rien dedans! Juste une petite fille." [Standard grammar and spelling: Il n'y a rien dedans] [There is nothing inside. Just a little girl.]
Third robber: "Une petite fille?" [A little girl?]
