Common French Vocabulary: Fruits and Vegetables -- Les Fruits et les Légumes

Starting in this lesson, please notice that most (but not all) French words which end in -e are feminine. If a word ends in -s, it is probably plural (but ananas and radis are obviously not plural!). Any other ending is probably masculine. This will help you decide if a word such as l'aubergine is masculine or feminine.

-e = féminin
-s = pluriel
[other endings] = masculine
